Key Responsibilities:
- To take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and person-centred running of the home
- Lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure the highest standards of care, dignity and independence for residents
- Manage budgets, occupancy, compliance, care planning and safeguarding
- Oversee medicine management in line with legal and regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards
- Support recruitment, staffing, rota management and team performance
Requirements:
- Experienced in a management role within a care home setting
- Strong leadership, communication and regulatory knowledge
- Experience working towards or holding Registered Manager status
- A passion for person-centred care and inclusive practice
- Financial and budget management experience
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Good knowledge of CQC requirements
