Registered Children's Home Manager – Bedfordshire

Salary: £49,159 per annum + up to £10,000 Bonus

Vacancy:

We are currently looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager for a small children's residential home in Bedfordshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day running of the home with the support of a Deputy Manager.

Our home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing the stability, warmth, and consistency they need to thrive. Rated Good by Ofsted, this is a home where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team work hard to create a nurturing space where every child feels valued, listened to, and understood.

We are looking for a manager who is a natural leader and has the needs of the children and young people we support at the heart of what they do. You will have previous experience of working in a residential setting, a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, implementing safeguarding policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring:

QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
At least 2 years’ recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children’s Home
Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach
Strong knowledge of children’s home regulations and legislation
A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
Full UK Driving Licence
