Registered Care Manager (Adults)
Salary Range: £42,567 - £48,778 per annum
Note: Starting salary subject to experience and qualifications
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The core purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and management to a range of residential provisions that embody the Trust’s seven care qualities of Rhythm, Warmth, Nourishment, Trust, Constancy, Culture and Recreation.
You will role model exemplary practice with staff support, supervisions, debriefs along with coaching and mentoring staff whilst managing of behaviours of high need residents and participants to ensure consistent and effective working practices.
In this role you will:
- lead the Residential Team in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality Residential Provision
- act as the Registered Manager for CQC, work to plan, direct and manage CQC inspection.
- oversee the admissions, placement transfer and legal requirements of residents and participants.
- be responsible for setting, effectively managing and monitoring of the residential budget in consultation with the General Manager and finance teams
- work collaboratively with the General Manager to grow and develop the service.
- ensure that residential staffing is efficient, planned and well managed
- lead a residential staff work force planning and recruitment strategy at a local level in partnership with other senior colleagues in the Trust, in order to minimise agency usage.
- act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure compliance with safeguarding requirements and internal policies and practice ensuring concerns are raised and dealt with in collaboration with the DSL.
Flexible working hours are required for this role, where it is expected that travel will be undertaken on a regular basis.
Evening and weekend work will be required in line with the needs of a CQC Registered Manager and the safeguarding responsibilities of the post, this will include working on shift with the staff as required
To apply you, we require you to:
- Hold a relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CQC
- Have experience of holding the Registered Manager responsibility in a multiple-site organisation with successful inspection outcomes
- Have significant operational experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management, including line management of staff
- Be experienced working with adults with a range of diagnoses that could include learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and/or complex behaviours including behaviours of concern or that challenge.
