Caregiver Senior Care Assistant
Contract: Full-Time Part-Time

About The Role
Visiting Angels Lincolnshire is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Caregiver to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ own homes, while also providing leadership and guidance to our caregiving team.
This role combines hands-on care with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring care is delivered in line with best practice, CQC standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Care Delivery
- Provide high-quality personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and feeding
- Support clients to live independently while maintaining dignity and safety
- Administer medication in line with MAR charts and company procedures
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure care plans are followed
Leadership & Supervision
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and supervision to caregivers
- Support the induction and training of new team members
- Promote a professional, client-centred approach across the team
Quality & Compliance
- Support compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and Care Act requirements
- Conduct quality checks, including MAR chart audits
- Safeguard clients and report any concerns appropriately
- Assist in maintaining and improving care standards
Team & Organisation Support
- Work closely with the Manager and the office team
- Support a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
- Assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues
Essential
About You:
- Previous experience in care (home care or residential)
- Experience supervising or supporting other caregivers
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Knowledge of safeguarding and medication administration
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- (VISA SPONSORSHIP NOT AVAILABLE)
Preferred
- Level 3 Diploma (QCF/NVQ) in Health & Social Care
- Understanding of CQC standards and Care Act requirements
