This opportunity is for an experienced Home Manager to lead an established service with strong foundations while driving further improvement in quality, leadership, and operational performance. The home is part of Care Concern Group, a large UK care provider with over 140 services nationwide, focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operation, performance, and culture of the care home
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership to staff and residents
- Ensure high standards of care, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Improve and maintain quality outcomes and inspection ratings
- Develop, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership and care team
- Oversee recruitment, particularly nursing staff
- Manage occupancy levels and strengthen community engagement
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
- Manage budgets and ensure strong financial performance
- Drive continuous improvement in resident experience and service delivery
- Work closely with regional and operational leadership teams
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Manager in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting
- Proven track record of improving quality standards and inspection outcomes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to recruit, develop, and retain staff effectively
- Good understanding of care regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and experience in managing budgets and occupancy
- Ability to lead change while maintaining team engagement
- A nursing qualification is desirable but not essential
- A compassionate, visible, and values-driven leadership approach
