Clinical Team Manager
Medical Emergency Solutions is a CQC-regulated private ambulance company operating across England since 2019. We deliver pre-hospital emergency response, patient transport and event medical cover to NHS and private clients. We are hiring an experienced clinical leader as Clinical Team Manager. This is a senior, hands-on hybrid role combining active clinical practice with management responsibility. You will hold overall accountability for clinical quality across the frontline team and act as the primary point of escalation for clinical matters. 40 hours per week, on-site.
Responsibilities:
- The Newly Qualified Paramedic programme, including mentor pairing, supervised hours and competency sign-off
- Medicines management and controlled drugs governance across the service, in line with JRCALC guidelines and CQC requirements
- Clinical record keeping, monthly PRF audits and incident reviews
- Monthly CPD delivery for the frontline team
- On-scene clinical support for complex and high-acuity incidents
- Recruitment, onboarding and annual appraisals for clinical staff
What you need:
- HCPC-registered Paramedic with a minimum of 4 years' frontline emergency ambulance experience
- Supervisory, mentoring or clinical leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of NQP frameworks, JRCALC guidelines and CQC requirements
- Full UK driving licence (C1 or above) with emergency driving qualification
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check for Adults and Children
Desirable:
- IQI, IHCD Paramedic Instructor or equivalent clinical education qualification
- Experience in the private ambulance or event medicine sector
- Advanced clinical qualification such as CCP or Critical Care Paramedic
- Experience with CQC inspections or registered manager responsibilities

Selection proccess:
Shortlisted candidates go through a two-stage interview process, the first with the management team, the second with the directors.
