Registered Manager
MMBM, originating from Small Supports in Leeds, is a specialist service providing tailored management, care, and treatment for individuals with higher needs. The people supported by MMBM have mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, and/or forensic histories, requiring higher levels of support than mainstream community services can offer. Each person receives a singular, individualized model of care, living in their own home with carefully selected staff and a support package designed specifically for them. The service operates through clinical referrals only, ensuring that support is aligned with professional assessments and multidisciplinary input.
Role Description
- The Registered Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Horsforth, Leeds, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of bespoke support packages for individuals with high-level needs.
- This role includes managing care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising staff teams, and maintaining high standards of person-centered support.
- The Registered Manager will coordinate clinical referrals, liaise with external professionals, and ensure that each individual’s home environment and staff team reflect their personal needs and preferences.
- Routine tasks include conducting service audits, overseeing training and competency, leading team meetings, managing staff, and responding promptly to incidents or changes in support requirements.
- The role also involves supporting continuous improvement, contributing to policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety, dignity, and respect.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership and staff management abilities, including supervision, performance monitoring, and team development.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant health and social care regulations, medication safety, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals, families, clinical referrers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple bespoke packages, manage multiple and different support packages, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Relevant Health and Social Care qualification of minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent), or willing to work towards
