Registered Manager Children's Residential Home

Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum + sleep-ins

Location: Verwood

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to support the effective leadership of a child-centred residential home that is currently home to 2 children.

This role is key to ensuring the home consistently meets Ofsted regulations, delivers high-quality care, and promotes positive outcomes for children.

Working as the Registered Manager, you will help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, underpinned by therapeutic practice and strong safeguarding principles.

Key Responsibilities

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with legislation and best practice
Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team to deliver consistently high standards of care
Contribute to care planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Participate in the on-call rota.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential management role
Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and quality assurance
Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
Proficient in the e-escalation of challenging behaviours ·Full UK driving licence
This role involves shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
