We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to join a well-established non-profit care group. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate healthcare professional to drive quality improvement and operational excellence at a medium size care home in East Sussex.

Salary: £49,000 per annum

Location: East Sussex Type: Permanent

Conduct monthly Provider/Compliance visits, reviewing KPIs, service improvement plans, maintenance logs, and environmental standards
Take ownership of care home quality outcomes and overall performance within your region
Lead on the standardisation of documentation and roll-out of best practices across all homes
Maintain a strong and visible presence across services, with focused support for underperforming homes
Build and maintain effective relationships with CQC, Local Authorities, and other professional stakeholders
Attend and contribute to Governance and Central Team meetings, presenting audit outcomes and insights
Guide the Home to achieve commercial goals, including occupancy growth and marketing activity
Contribute to policy and procedure development to enhance care standards and compliance
Assess training needs, review completion data, and organise or deliver training as required
Support and develop the team through coaching, mentoring, and regular 1:1 guidance
Lead and manage formal processes including disciplinary hearings, appeals, and grievances in line with company protocols

Required Skills & Experience

Experience managing an elderly residential care home
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Proficient in CQC regulation and compliance
