About Us

At Balance Care, we are a specialised health and social care provider dedicated to supporting adults with complex needs, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities. Operating across the North West of England, our mission is to deliver safe, dignified, and person-centred care that empowers individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and community integration.

Who We Are

We are an established care provider operating in close conjunction with community living networks and clinical partners. Our multidisciplinary teams specialize in managing complex care pathways, supporting transitions from secure or inpatient hospital settings back into community placements, and ensuring individuals thrive in supportive, empowering environments.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated range of specialised care and support services:

  • Complex Care & Mental Health Support: Providing professional, 24/7 care for individuals with severe mental health conditions, personality disorders, and neurological or physical disabilities.
  • Learning Disability & Autism Support: Tailoring person-centred frameworks that focus on individual strengths, daily living skills, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS): Utilising an in-house expert PBS team to manage behaviours of concern safely, consistently, and with absolute dignity.
  • Community Integration & Transition Services: Facilitating smooth transitions from institutional or inpatient care to independent community living, promoting social inclusion and purposeful daily routines.

Our Approach & Values

  • Person-Centred Empowerment: Placing the individual at the centre of their support plan, ensuring that choices, personal goals, and life aspirations shape every aspect of their care.
  • Collaborative Practice: Working closely with local authorities, the NHS, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and families to maintain high standards of clinical governance and seamless service coordination.
  • Dignity & Respect: Fostering a nurturing, optimistic environment where every person is treated with respect and supported to live a fulfilling life on their own terms.

Industry Role

We operate as a Specialist Adult Social Care and Complex Needs Provider. Our role is to act as a vital link between clinical commissioning bodies and community living infrastructure, delivering the high-acuity care and professional staffing required to support vulnerable adults outside of hospital settings.
