Location: Head Office (Blackpool) and cluster of homes within the North West area.
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Join us as a Service Manager in Residential Childcare, where you’ll lead a team of managers dedicated to providing outstanding care for children aged 5 to 18 with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage a cluster of up to 6 residential children’s homes, all to accommodate 2 children, each home has a registered manager.
- Act as the Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Quality Care Standards.
- Support and develop Registered Managers and their teams to deliver exceptional care.
- Drive performance, maintain high occupancy levels, and achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships to promote our services.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience: At least 2 years in Registered manager position of a children home.
- Residential Care Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience within residential care
- Driving: A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and high-performing environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards in children’s residential care.
