We’re opening a brand-new residential children’s home in Romford, East London, and we’re looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Registered Manager to take the lead

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Romford for a Children's Home Residential Manager. The Residential Manager will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment for children and young people.
As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations and provides high-quality care for young people aged 10–17.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds (or is working towards) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Has at least 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
- Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and young people
- Understands Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
- Has great leadership, communication and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in people management, including team leadership and staff development
- Knowledge of residential real estate processes and facility management
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Experience in delivering or coordinating training programs
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and safeguarding practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
- Relevant qualifications in social care, childcare, or management are highly desirable
