Job Title: Registered Manager
I am currently representing Crystal Care Solutions, which is offering a permanent position for the right candidate.
We are looking for a Registered Manager (Off shift). This role will be: Oswestry, SY11 - 3 BED EBD home
- Salary info is £52,650.00 per year with OTE up to an extra £9K in bonuses based on retention of staff, Ofsted rating and longevity as a Manager. Therefore total OTE is £61,650.00. Plus a commitment for £5k on the base rate after 5 years service raising to £57,650 - £66,650
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am until 5 pm, with a requirement to be part of the RM on call.
The right candidate will:
The post holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the Home. Ensure that Children and Young People have their needs met and the home meets the standards set out in the Statement of Purpose.
- Ensure that each young person has a plan which reflects his/her care, education, social, emotional, cultural, and therapeutic and health needs.
- Ensure that the placement plan is regularly reviewed.
- Allocate a Key Worker for each young person, with the principal responsibility of implementing the childcare plan
- Ensure that staffing levels and competence meet the needs of the home
- Ensure the budgets are managed effectively, and the use of all finances is properly monitored
- Respond to and manage any issues relating to the conduct and competence of staff members, including completion of fact finds, disciplinary and grievance hearings, appeals and all other employment law processes
- Attend all mandatory training events in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company policy
We require the following:
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence and carry out driving duties to meet the needs of the children and young people
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with child and adult barred list check
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in supervisory or management within residential childcare
