Summary
We are seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team in providing outstanding support to our residents in a nurturing environment located in Spring. This role is vital in ensuring that our residents receive the personalised care they deserve, contributing significantly to our mission of enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Support residents to experience rest and comfort at night
- Support residents with mobility and transportation
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and resident progress
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the care team
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Careership level 2 or 3
- Dementia care training
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting
- Knowledge of digital care plans and care home practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Basic IT skills are an advantage but not essential
- Ability to drive is beneficial but not mandatory
