Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and organisational protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and assist clients during mealtimes.
- Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management techniques.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, using appropriate techniques to prevent injury.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when needed, to ensure the well-being of clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Relevant certifications such as first aid are preferred.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively manage behavioural challenges.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation duties.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience when working with vulnerable individuals.
