Nouveau Care is a leading homecare provider supporting individuals across Norwich & Norfolk to live independently and with dignity. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our care services, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and drive continuous improvement.
The Registered Manager will lead a team of care and office staff, manage care packages and staff rotas, and maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities. This role includes adherence to the service improvement plan, conducting monthly audits, and maintaining high-quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop care and administrative staff.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and performance management.
- Manage care packages, staff allocation, and rotas.
- Implement and monitor the service improvement plan.
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure quality, compliance, and risk management.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and social services.
- Monitor budgets, service performance, and operational reporting.
- Investigate complaints, safeguarding concerns, and incidents promptly.
- Support service growth while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.
Requirements
- Full registration with the CQC.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within domiciliary or residential care.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Experience with service improvement plans and conducting audits.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, staff, and operational performance.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Experience in expanding or developing care services.
- Familiarity with digital care management systems.
