Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as per care plans
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Good organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience and empathy in challenging situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
