Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated registered manager to oversee a children’s residential care home located in the South West Wales region. This full-time, permanent position is suitable for professionals committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
Duties
- The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a team of support staff and deputies
- Ensuring that the home maintains the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as CIW and SCW.
- The role involves overseeing care planning, safeguarding procedures, and assessments to promote a safe and nurturing environment where young people can flourish.
- Collaboration with therapeutic teams specialising in trauma-informed support is essential to support the overall well-being of young residents.
Qualification
- Candidates should hold a QCF Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
- Have at least two years of management experience in children’s residential services.
- A comprehensive understanding of Welsh childcare regulation and a valid driving licence are also required.
