Salary: £24,420.00 - £30,671.34 per year
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to patients in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Help organise and coordinate care activities to meet individual needs
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Document care provided accurately using IT systems and ensure records are up-to-date
- Drive or accompany patients to appointments or outings as required
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance patient well-being
Requirements
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting patients or running errands
- Experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others in their daily needs
