Senior Administrator (CQC Registered Manager)
Join a team where your organisation, compassion, and leadership truly make a difference.
At YorMed, we are proud to be an independent ambulance service supporting patients, NHS partners, and private clients across the UK and beyond. We’re now looking for a dedicated Senior Administrator & Registered Manager to help us deliver safe, efficient, and caring services every day.
This role is right at the heart of what we do. You will combine strong administrative and organisational skills with the responsibility of ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Working closely with our Managing Director, Operations Director, and Group Finance Manager, you’ll help shape the smooth running of our service and the experience of those who rely on us.
What you will do
- Lead all Registered Manager responsibilities, ensuring CQC compliance and a consistently high quality of care.
- Coordinate governance, audits, and operational processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support senior leaders with reporting, project coordination, and day-to-day administration.
- Manage HR and scheduling tasks, from onboarding new staff to keeping our rota systems running smoothly.
- Prepare polished documentation, including correspondence, reports, and compliance materials.
- Keep our office systems organised, efficient, and up to date, and look for ways to make them even better.
- Promote a positive, professional environment where teamwork and accountability thrive.
What you will bring to our table
- Experience as a Senior Administrator, Manager, or Registered Manager, ideally within healthcare or a regulated environment.
- A confident understanding of CQC standards, governance, and operational processes.
- Excellent communication skills — you’re approachable, organised, and unflappable under pressure.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Office 365, and cloud tools such as iCloud and OneDrive.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine pride in doing things well.
- (A qualification in Health & Social Care, Management, or a related field would be a plus.)
