Registered Manager – Residential Service
Location: Derby
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, flexible working required)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Role Overview
An opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential adult social care service. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring compliance, and creating a positive, supportive environment for both staff and service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the residential service
- Lead, motivate, and develop a staff team to deliver high standards of care
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and internal policies
- Promote person-centred support, enabling individuals to live independently
- Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and resources effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and external professionals
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the service
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management role within social care
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage budgets and service performance effectively
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
