Clinical Nurse Specialist - Paediatric Palliative Care

Duties
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and innovative nurse with experience in Paediatric Palliative Care to our Clinical Nurse Specialist team.
- As a clinical nurse specialist, you will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team working together to deliver this specialist service to children and families under the care of Evelina London across the South East network. This will involve travel to local hospitals, hospices and children’s homes.
- You will bring excellent communication, clinical skills and a desire to maintain and role model a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. There is an expectation that you will be able to work autonomously. The role also involves an element of lone working.
- You will be responsible for developing and delivering specialist pathways of care as part of a multi-professional team, working with care providers across the South East to ensure children and families receive high-quality palliative care in the most appropriate setting.
- This role will involve taking part in an out-of-hours telephone on-call rota to provide advice and support. The on-call rota is in addition to your contracted hours.
