Health Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in care homes or delivering home care services.

Responsibilities
- Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines according to personalised care plans
- Monitoring and recording health conditions and reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents or clients
- Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
- Using IT systems to update records and document care activities accurately
- Driving to appointments or client homes when required (nice-to-have skill)
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT literacy for record-keeping and communication purposes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in following care plans
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations (nice-to-have)
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
