Spire Perth Clinic - General Manager

Spire Perth Clinic is looking to recruit a General Manager to join its fantastic management team. The General Manager will be the Registered Manager for the clinic and will have overall responsibility for the clinic's strategy, operations and team management.
The General Manager will deliver a safe and effective clinic operation focused on the delivery of outstanding, personalised care for patients within regulatory governance frameworks, which will lead to commercial success and support the Spire Healthcare PLC strategy.
Our Spire Clinics deliver a specific range of lower-risk outpatient and day case treatments (all on a local anaesthetic basis), which provides faster care for day case patients. The Clinical specialities include Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology, and Orthopaedics.

The Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include
- Act as Registered Manager for the clinic, ensuring the clinic operates in line with all relevant statutory, regulatory and legal requirements
- Oversee the delivery of an excellent, holistic Patient experience in line with the Spire Healthcare brand to meet patients’ current and evolving needs
- Develop a local three-year strategic plan and annual operating plan in line with the overall Spire business strategy
- Drive profitable growth for own clinic and beyond, identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities and embracing change in an ever-shifting environment
- Build, develop and lead a world-class, high-performing team who are committed to and engaged in the Spire Purpose and Vision
- Manage relationships and partnerships with a range of stakeholder groups, including regulators, Consultants, the NHS and patients
- Promote diversity throughout the business, enabling and supporting all colleagues to thrive in a positive culture that helps them support patients and achieve their potential
- Raise the centre’s profile in the local community to support the Spire strategy to deliver financial promises, as well as champion Spire in supporting the people who live in our local community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience of working within a regulated healthcare environment. May suit someone looking for their first senior leadership position
- Proven track record of managing successful multi-disciplined teams and people through change and driving high performance
- Understanding of the health regulatory environment
- Experience and accountability, including full P&L for a business unit
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
