Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Manager with Ofsted at InstaResource, located in Watford. The role involves overseeing compliance with Ofsted regulations, managing the day-to-day operations of the residential service, and leading a team to deliver high-quality care and support.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the safety and welfare of children, developing and implementing care plans, staff performance appraisals, and collaborating with external stakeholders. The Registered Manager will also play a pivotal role in maintaining the service's standards and ensuring positive Ofsted inspections.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, specifically Ofsted standards and compliance requirements
- Experience in managing residential care for children and young people, with a strong focus on ensuring safety and well-being
- Proven leadership skills, including team management, performance evaluation, and the ability to foster a positive organizational culture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including liaising with families, local authorities, and professionals
- Competence in care planning, policy implementation, and report writing
- Relevant qualifications, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Previous experience in achieving positive Ofsted inspections is an advantage
