We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team at Benvie Care Home for 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- As Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing the Home’s operation in order to meet or exceed targets whilst ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
- You will be responsible for the management of staff in the care home & expected to take over full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
- You will help train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work through direct teaching and by example.
- You will be involved in assisting the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring residents' care plans and daily records are maintained for each resident and promoting good liaison with the relatives of residents and outside agencies.
- You are a qualified registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
- You have an SVQ 4 Management qualification or are willing to work towards this. You are currently working in a similar role and have been for at least one year.
- You can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and lead them in the absence of the Home Manager.
