Pay: Band 5 £34,544 - £43,039 per annum
Note: Plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Working Hours: 36 Hours a week

About Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Staff Nurse to join the Southside Community Nursing team. This post will be based in the Lochs area, with the wider team covering Lochs and Harris. This post offers a unique opportunity to work within a remote and rural setting.
The post holder will have the opportunity to contribute to the high-quality care of patients in their own home, community setting or community treatment room, The post holder will work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to enable and empower individuals, families and communities to engage in healthy lifestyles, providing assistance and support in the planning, implementation and evaluating of care in order to enable individuals to stay in their own homes.
Some experience of working within a community setting would be desirable for this role, but not essential, and the post is open to newly qualified nurses, as training and support will be provided.
A flexible approach to working is required. You will be a car owner/driver with a full UK driving licence. Staff nurses may be required to work in other areas of the Western Isles to provide nursing cover if required.
