Job Title: Registered Manager(s) or Dual Registered Manager – Children's Residential Homes

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Swinton & Crumpsall, Manchester
Salary:
• Registered Manager (per 2-Bed Home): £50,000 per annum
• Dual Registered Manager (Oversight of Two 2-Bed Homes): £80,000 per annum
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced children's residential care leaders to support two small therapeutic children's homes located in the Manchester area.
Applications are welcomed from either:
• Experienced Registered Managers interested in managing one 2-bed children's home; or
• An exceptional Dual Registered Manager with the experience, capacity, and leadership skills to oversee both homes.
Both homes provide nurturing, trauma-informed environments where children and young people are supported to achieve positive outcomes through stable relationships, therapeutic care, and high-quality practice.
This opportunity would suit ambitious leaders with a strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, staff development, and therapeutic residential care. Whether managing one home or providing oversight across both services, the successful candidate(s) will play a key role in establishing and maintaining outstanding standards of care.
Key Requirements
Registered Manager Applicants
• Strong experience within children's residential care settings
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and understanding of Children's Homes Regulations
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing staff teams
• Organised, resilient, and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Dual Registered Manager Applicants
• Significant leadership experience within children's residential care
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Strong track record of maintaining compliance and quality standards across services
• Excellent organisational, operational, and leadership capabilities
• Ability to effectively oversee multiple teams and maintain consistency across both homes
• Strong safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management expertise
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
