This exciting position offers the opportunity to deputise across two well-established homecare services in Eastbourne and Seaford, both proudly rated Good by the CQC and long-standing, trusted partners of East Sussex Social Services. You'll be joining a respected organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting people to live independently in their own homes.
This is far more than a typical care management role. As Deputy Care Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager, providing leadership and operational support across both services. You'll play a key role in maintaining our excellent standards, developing our teams, and ensuring outstanding care for every client.

What You'll Be Doing
As Deputy Care Manager, you will:
- Deputise for the Registered Manager across our Eastbourne and Seaford services when required.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a dedicated team of care professionals.
- Ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, and in full compliance with CQC regulations.
- Complete client assessments and develop high-quality, person-centred care plans.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of both services, including rota coordination and workforce planning.
- Monitor quality, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and support business growth.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authority partners.
- Participate in a shared on-call rota to provide operational support when needed.
