What You’ll Be Doing
As Team Leader, you’ll help shape the standard of care in our new home by:
- Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living, ensuring comfort, dignity and independence
- Guiding, supervising and supporting new and junior staff, helping build a confident, caring team
- Providing attentive physical, emotional and spiritual support
- Supporting residents with limited mobility or additional needs
- Monitoring residents who may be confused or experiencing behavioural changes
- Promoting continence and supporting end‑of‑life care with compassion
- Completing and reviewing care plans and daily records
- Encouraging hobbies, activities and social engagement
- Responding to calls, messages and enquiries professionally
- Liaising with GPs, families and managers to ensure excellent continuity of care
What We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
- Warm, positive and approachable
- Organised, reliable and confident leading a team
- Creative, enthusiastic and able to motivate others
- Passionate about improving the lives of older people
- Flexible across some evenings and weekends
- Experienced in a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 qualified (or willing to work towards it)
