A home, not just a service

Bradbury Wing is a 20-bed care home located in the tranquil setting of Newcastle, surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. The home specialises in providing complex care for young adults with physical and learning disabilities. What you'll do

Support people with everyday living, including personal care, meal preparation, medication, and maintaining a safe, comfortable home.

Promote independence and choice by delivering person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, goals, and preferences.

Accompany people to appointments, social activities, and community events, encouraging meaningful participation and inclusion.

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Build positive relationships with the people you support, their families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

Most importantly, empower each person to live the life they choose, with dignity, respect, and as much independence as possible.

Complex care

This role may involve supporting individuals with a range of complex healthcare needs, including tracheostomy care, enteral feeding (PEG tubes), medication administration, epilepsy management, and other specialist clinical interventions.
