Are you a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re seeking experienced Domiciliary Health Care Assistants to provide essential care to clients in the comfort of their own homes across Dorset and Hampshire.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health Care Assistant (domiciliary or residential care).
- Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids as needed.
- Prompt or administer medications (subject to training and competency).
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Carry out light household duties to ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the care coordinator.
- Promote client independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
