Registered Nurse Manager – Domiciliary & Complex Care at Home
Location: Southampton, Hampshire (Community-Based)£50,000–£55,000 per year
Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead and develop high-quality domiciliary care, home care, and complex care at home services across Southampton and Hampshire.
This role is ideal for a clinically strong Nurse with experience managing complex community care packages, particularly supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and other high-dependency needs within their own homes.
You will take full clinical and operational responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant, and outstanding home care delivery in line with CQC standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee domiciliary care and complex care at home packages
- Lead clinical delivery for individuals with complex needs, including ABI
- Develop, review and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments
- Ensure full CQC compliance, audit readiness and inspection leadership
- Conduct internal audits, governance reviews and quality assurance checks
- Manage safeguarding processes and clinical risk
- Supervise and support nurses and care staff delivering home care services
- Oversee operational performance, staffing, rotas and service growth
- Liaise with commissioners, case managers, families and multidisciplinary teams
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration
- Experience within domiciliary care/home care / complex care at home
- Strong clinical background supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Experience managing complex care packages in community settings
- Working knowledge of CQC regulations, inspections and audits
- Experience in safeguarding, governance and care planning
- Operational management experience within a domiciliary care setting
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience preparing for or leading CQC inspections
- Experience managing high-value complex care packages
- Leadership qualification or management training
