About the Role:
We’re seeking dedicated Care Assistants and Support Workers who are flexible and willing to travel within a reasonable distance across Romford and nearby areas. Shifts vary from 6 to 14 hours per day, with both day and night shifts available, Monday through Sunday.
This is a great opportunity for students, those looking for extra work, or experienced care professionals seeking flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal assistance/preparation.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all aspects of care are addressed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with other team members regarding any changes in health or behaviour.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their mobility needs are met.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional UK experience in the care sector
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with developing care plans and understanding individual client needs is advantageous.
