Female Personal Care Assistant
Note: 1:1 Support for Adults with Neuromuscular Conditions (York)
Join a small, specialist care company that truly values both its service users and its staff. We provide personalised, 1:1 support to adults living with Neuromuscular Conditions in their own homes, and we’re looking for compassionate, reliable Personal Care Assistants to join our team.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with two female service users in York, each with a different support pattern:
Service User 1 – 48‑hour Block Shifts
- Working in 48‑hour blocks, providing consistent, focused support within her home.
Service User 2 – 48‑hour Contract (2‑Week Rota)
- A fixed two‑week rota pattern
- Every Thursday and Sunday off
- Working every other Saturday
This rota offers a predictable structure for those who prefer regularity in their schedule.
Across both packages, you’ll provide tailored support in five key areas:
- Social support – companionship, community access, meaningful activities
- Personal care
- – dignity‑focused daily living support
- Domestic support – maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment
- Professional support – assistance with work, appointments, and daily routines
- Medical support – following care plans and supporting clinical needs
