Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Overview
We are supporting a forward-thinking, innovative children’s residential provider who is seeking a strong Registered Manager to oversee a 1-bed EBD home in Runcorn. This is a great opportunity to lead an established service within a dynamic and supportive organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day management of a 1-bed EBD children’s home.
- Ensuring each young person has an individualised care plan reflecting their emotional, educational, social, cultural, therapeutic and health needs.
- Regularly reviewing and updating placement plans.
- Allocating Key Workers and overseeing the effective delivery of care plans.
- Building strong working relationships with families, carers, local authorities and external professionals.
- Overseeing budgets and ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensuring staffing levels and staff competencies meet the needs of the young people.
- Ensuring all new staff receive a full induction and ongoing personal development plan.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice in residential childcare.
- Providing strong leadership, professional supervision and support to the staff team.
