Role Description
The Care Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily delivery of care services to ensure the highest quality of support is provided. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing individual care plans, supervising care staff, delivering hands-on care when required, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The role also involves liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to maintain effective communication and ensure satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site position based in Kirkcaldy.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in care management, including supervising staff and monitoring quality standards.
- Skills in care planning, risk assessments, and delivering person-centered support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices within the healthcare or home care sector.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic situations, solve problems effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in healthcare or social care, such as SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (preferred).
- Proficiency in record-keeping, report writing, and using care management systems.
