Job Summary
Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This means being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. As a Registered Manager, you will make sure that the home environment can support this by ensuring both your staff and the young people feel secure, safe, and motivated.
There will be challenges along the way but there will also be the smallest moments which feel like a huge small victory. Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. This is all made possible because our service is holistic and touches on every aspect of our young people’s developmental needs, supported by psychologists, occupational therapists, and other clinical team members.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations in the home and take complete ownership of Ofsted requirements.
- Enable young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well rounded adults.
- Actively participate in the referral process for new young people entering the home.
- Provide a safe, stable, and highly supportive home environment within the UK’s leading provider of specialist education and care.
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
- Proven experience managing an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding children’s home.
- Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference.
- A full UK driving licence, which you have held for at least 12 months.
