The Role & Key Responsibilities
As a Team Leader at Belong, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership, coaching, and development to a team of dedicated support workers.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Taking responsibility for medication on the household and ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Ensuring customer care plans are kept up to date.
- Providing professional leadership, coaching, and development to support workers.
- Managing day-to-day challenges with effective planning and resilience.
- Acting as an exceptional role model for the team while supporting residents' individual needs.
About You (Requirements)
- An NVQ Level 3 in Care (or working towards it) is required.
- Demonstrable experience with an awareness of how to face and manage daily care challenges.
- Excellent time-management, planning, and team leadership skills.
- Experience in a dementia care setting is preferred.
