Registered Manager – Lead a New Therapeutic Children's Home
Salary: £53,000 – £65,000 + Performance & Ofsted Bonus

Future Horizon Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead the launch of our first therapeutic children's home.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, values and future of a brand-new service from the ground up.
We are not looking for someone simply to manage a home.
We are looking for a leader who believes children can recover from trauma when they experience stability, trust, consistency and genuine therapeutic relationships.
The successful candidate will combine excellent safeguarding, leadership and regulatory knowledge with the emotional intelligence needed to create a home where children feel safe, valued and able to thrive.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the children's home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Build, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team
- Create a therapeutic, nurturing and aspirational culture
- Promote excellent safeguarding practices
- Drive positive outcomes in education, health, emotional wellbeing and independence
- Develop strong relationships with local authorities, professionals and families
- Prepare the home for Ofsted inspections and work towards achieving a Good or Outstanding judgement
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting
- Strong leadership and staff management experience
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge
- Thorough understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Full UK driving license
- Experience within a therapeutic or trauma-informed service
- Experience opening a new children's home
- Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
