Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Salisbury, for a Care Assistant (Days) at Hartford Care.
The Care Assistant will provide compassionate and personalised care to residents, assisting with daily activities such as personal care, mobility support, mealtime assistance, and emotional support. They will work closely with residents, families, and the care team to ensure the comfort, dignity, and independence of each resident in a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Experience in Caregiving and Dementia Care
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Manual Handling skills for safe and effective support
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting older people and those living with dementia
- A willingness to undergo training and development to enhance caregiving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous but not required
