We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead our beautiful five-bedroom children's home in Poulton-le-Fylde, providing care for up to three children aged 7–17 years with emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities
As Registered Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership and be responsible for the overall management, quality and continuous development of the home.
Working closely with the Responsible Individual and wider leadership team, you will:
- Lead and develop a safe, nurturing and family home environment where children can thrive.
- Build and inspire a skilled, values-led workforce committed to delivering exceptional care.
- Promote a culture of openness, accountability, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the home consistently meets the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Quality Standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Lead high-quality care planning, safeguarding, quality assurance and partnership working to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Develop positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain the home in a state of inspection readiness.
- Shape and continuously develop the service, including the Statement of Purpose, policies, procedures and governance framework, ensuring the home consistently reflects Lighthouse Care NW's values and complies with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
Requirements
You will be an experienced children's residential leader who is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
You will demonstrate:
- A passion for providing safe, nurturing and relationship-based care.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate and support others.
- Sound knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Professional curiosity, integrity, resilience and accountability.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Hold the qualifications and experience required under Regulation 28 of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, or be eligible to achieve the required Level 5 qualification within the prescribed timescales.

Appointments are subject to our robust safer recruitment process, including enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references, Regulation 28 fitness assessment and all pre-employment checks required under Schedule 2 of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Please note: Appointment to this role is also subject to the successful candidate being considered suitable for registration by Ofsted as the Registered Manager of the children's home. Continued employment in the Registered Manager role is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining Ofsted registration.
