Health Care Assistant – Care Home & Home Care
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our team, supporting individuals in care homes and within the community. This is a rewarding opportunity for people who are passionate about delivering high-quality care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living activities, monitor and report changes in health, support with medication where required, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, dressing, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Follow individual care plans and provide person-centred support.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication where required.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, residents, and families.
Requirements:
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable for home care roles.
