Position: Female Carer for Elderly Gentleman
Location: Rural area near Sherborne, Dorset

Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Carer to provide dedicated one-to-one support for an elderly gentleman living in a peaceful rural home near Sherborne. The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and capable of promoting independence while ensuring his daily comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assistance with morning and evening routines, washing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene with dignity and respect.
- Companionship & Engagement: Providing meaningful social interaction, conversation, and support with hobbies, reading, or watching television.
- Household Support: Light housekeeping, including meal preparation, grocery shopping, maintaining tidy living spaces, and managing laundry.
- Mobility & Medication: Assisting with safe movement around the home and ensuring timely administration of prescribed medications.
- Errands & Transport: Driving the client to local appointments, social visits, or shopping trips using his vehicle or your own insured vehicle as agreed.
Candidate Requirements
- Gender: Female applicant required (in accordance with occupational requirements for personal care).
- Transport: Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to your own reliable car, as public transport does not serve the immediate rural location.
