Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily care of residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. You will play an important role in providing physical and emotional support to our residents, working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, etc.).
Help residents move and reposition safely to prevent bedsores and promote mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with light housekeeping duties in residents' rooms, including cleaning and tidying up.
Report changes in residents' condition to nurses and other medical staff.
Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while delivering care.

Qualifications

Current Nursing Assistant certification (CNA) is required.
Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
Ability to lift and move residents safely and comfortably.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
