You know the difference between a care worker who is coping and one who is quietly struggling. You notice when a client isn't quite themselves. That instinct is the job.
We're looking for two Field Care Supervisors to sit right in the middle of our homecare service — half your week out in the community, half supporting the care workers who deliver it, and ensuring our clients receive the best care possible. One to work the morning shift, and one to work the evening shift.
What you'll actually do
Half your time is spent in the field. You'll cover care runs alongside the team, so you stay properly connected to the work. You'll spend time with clients in their own homes finding out who's happy and who isn't, checking that care plans match the care being delivered, and flagging to our Care Managers when someone's needs have changed.
The other half is spent supporting our care workers. You'll be their point of contact — the person they call first. That means spot checks and supervisions, but far more of it is simply knowing your team: who's finding a client difficult, who's had three rota changes this week, who needs a bit of coaching before a small problem becomes a serious one.
What we're offering

- Funded NVQ Level 3 if you don't already have it, further progression if you wish

What we need from you
- A full UK driving licence
- At least two years in domiciliary or community care
- NVQ Level 3, or the willingness to work towards it
- Confidence with electronic care planning systems
- Availability for alternate weekends and both early and late shifts
- The judgement to know what you can handle and what needs escalating
NVQ Level 3, supervisory experience or a medication competency assessor qualification are all welcome, but we'd rather have the right person and train them.
