Overview
We are seeking 2 full time and 2 part time Support Workers to help provide care to our tenants and their families in our extra care service.

The Sunhaven team are looking for people who are friendly, positive, and have a genuine passion to support others. You will play a key role in offering a person-centred service and ensuring the safety of everyone in our care as part of a kind and supportive team.
Role
You will be able to support our tenants to enjoy a range of activities, including cooking and other daily living skills and days out featuring walks and lunches.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- to be passionate about working with people in a care setting
- to have proven experience of working with people with older adults in a work setting or by caring for a friend or relative.
- to meet the personal care needs of tenants.
- strong numeracy and literacy skills to complete basic calculations, undertake tasks such as shopping for residents, and maintain accurate records
Further training will be available to help enhance your skills.
This role will involve working 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts with the opportunity to take overtime when available. You will also be required to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota system.
This role will require you to have a QCF Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent. If you do not already have this qualification, we will fund this for you as well as your training as long as you are willing to work towards obtaining this on appointment.
