Registered Manager, Children's and Adult Services
£55,000 (DOE) | Fidelis Healthcare
Role summary
Fidelis Healthcare is hiring a Registered Manager to lead our children's and adult services in London. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role for an experienced manager who has taken a service through Ofsted or CQC registration and knows what inspection-ready looks like every day of the year.
Lead it. Register it. Keep it right.
This is not a role where you inherit a settled service. It is the opportunity to register and lead the service yourself, build the team around it, and take full regulatory responsibility as we grow.

Our ambition is to be the provider local authorities and Integrated Care Boards trust first when a placement has to hold.
We are looking for a Registered Manager who leads from the floor, holds the standard without exception, and takes ownership of the service as if it were their own.

• Lead all inspections and maintain an inspection-ready service at all times.
• Complete Regulation 45 reviews, self-assessments, audits and quality improvement plans.
• Investigate complaints and incidents, and submit statutory notifications accurately and on time.
Care and placements
You will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the service, so that every person we support is safe, valued and able to thrive.
• Oversee assessments, admissions, placement planning and transitions, ensuring each individual has a person-centred care plan, risk assessment and positive behaviour support plan.
• Deliver high-quality support for people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, behaviours that challenge and complex health needs.
• Oversee medication management, health needs and access to education.
• Act as the senior escalation point for safeguarding, placement and service concerns.
People and leadership
You will build and lead the staff team.
• Recruit, induct, supervise and develop the team in line with safer recruitment.
• Manage rotas, absence and performance, and participate in the on-call rota.
• Embed a culture of dignity, consistency and accountability from day one.
• Work closely with Compliance, Recruitment and Operations so that every placement is staffed safely before it starts.
Premises, budget and safety
You will run the service as a business as well as a home.
• Manage the service budget, premises, health and safety, fire safety and infection control.
• Maintain the environment to the standard inspectors and families expect.
Commissioners and stakeholders
You will be the face of the service to the people who place, fund and support the individuals in our care.
• Build strong working relationships with local authorities, ICBs, social workers, families, schools and health professionals.
• Represent the service in reviews, placement discussions and commissioning conversations.
