Support Worker (Female) - Home Care
Hourly Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
Areas Covered: Mountcastle, Duddingston, Piershill, Restalrig, Craigentinny, Joppa, Portobello, Abbeyhill, Meadowbank and Leith

VARIOUS SHIFTS REQUIRED
You must be able to work some evenings and alternate weekends
Female Carers only and car drivers essential for these positions.

Carrick Home Services is a well-respected, family owned and run Care at Home Provider based in North East Edinburgh, with a friendly and supportive management team.
We offer excellent rates of pay and are looking for people who can work at our busiest times which are weekdays (08.00-16.00), evenings (16.00-22.00) and weekends (08.00 – 22.00).
Job Requirements:-
· Full UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle is essential
· Due to client preferences we are currently recruiting female care assistants only
· Experience preferred but not essential as full training is given
- Hold a current or willing to undertake a PVG check and register with the SSSC is required
- Proof of right to work in the UK. (We are not currently recruiting from overseas)

This job role consists of:
- Assisting vulnerable and elderly clients in their own homes with their daily life i.e. personal care, medication, meal preparation, general domestic support, companionship.
- Building strong working relationships with your clients and fellow colleagues.
- Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care and person led care.
- Encouraging our clients to live as independently as possible.
- Recording and reporting daily visit information on our care app
