Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Registered Manager based in Leicester, offering a combination of on-site and remote work.
- The Registered Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of community-based homes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and lead a team to provide consistent, high-quality care for young people.
- Responsibilities include staff management, resource allocation, safeguarding, budget management, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored care and support.
- The role also involves monitoring and improving care standards to align with organizational and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, staff management, and team development skills
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance, safeguarding practices, and risk assessment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience in working within residential care or support services for children and young people
- Ability to handle budgets and manage resources effectively
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, such as a Level 5 Diploma, or a willingness to achieve this qualification
- A commitment to applying trauma-informed care principles
- Familiarity with managing complex needs and promoting positive outcomes for individuals in care
- Flexibility to travel locally and perform duties outside regular working hours, as needed
